WhatSchool New Zealand uses open structured data from New Zealand government sources. We do not scrape, copy, or paraphrase descriptive content from Education Counts, ERO reports, or individual school websites. All text descriptions on school profiles are platform-generated factual summaries derived from structured data fields.

Schools can claim their profile and provide school-supplied content directly to WhatSchool, which is displayed with clear attribution ("School-supplied content"). EQI values are provided by the Ministry of Education. Geographic data is sourced from Statistics New Zealand.
